The company strengthens the events area with two new recruits to face new challenges, focused on offering creative 360º solutions supported by innovation and sustainability.

ACCIONA Cultural Engineering has strengthened its Business Development department in recent months by recruiting two senior profiles with extensive experience in the events sector: Julián Álvarez Alonso and Mónica Sáenz Legarreta.

Both have joined the Events department with the aim of identifying new business opportunities in events and brand experiences with a 360° integrated marketing approach, supported by innovation and sustainability. ACCIONA Cultural Engineering is a pioneer in Spain in obtaining ISO 20121 certification for the sustainable management of all its events.

Julián Álvarez joins as New Business Manager of the Events department. He holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Navarra and a Masters in Marketing and Communication from Bournemouth University, UK. He has over 24 years of experience in marketing, advertising and communication. He spent 10 years at the Momentum Madrid agency, part of the McCann group, and was also a founding partner of the sports marketing agency Fast Track. He has also worked for clients such as Coca-Cola and Volvo.

Mónica Sáenz also joins the Events team as Business Development Manager. She holds a degree in Advertising and PR from the University of the Basque Country (UPV) and has 20 years’ experience in the events, communication and advertising sector. Throughout her career she has worked for agencies such as beon. Worldwide and Publicis Groupe, always with a connection to client management and new business development. She also founded her own e-commerce company.

ACCIONA Cultural Engineering works for clients such as Coca-Cola, BMW, Dior, Xiaomi, Grupo Mahou, Santalucía and Samsung, among others. It currently has offices in Madrid and Seville and has branches in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Egypt.
