ACCIONA Cultural Engineering has been chosen by Mahou to conceptualise, coordinate and organise events at El Patio Mahou, a new leisure space open from 23 June until 20 September at Calle de Fortuny, 53 in Madrid (Fundación José Ortega y Gasset).

With this new urban leisure format in the centre of Madrid, Mahou aims to offer a place to experience the brand through a wide range of events, including a full programme of live music, DJs, street markets, workshops, monologues, dining options, tastings, beer sommeliers and the complete range of beers from the Mahou Group, the most awarded Spanish beer in the world.

Thus, one of its main attractions will be the open-air stage, featuring musical acts every Wednesday and Thursday. Performances will combine headliners like Dani Fernández and Fredi Leis with emerging talent such as Biuti Bambú, a duo participating in Mad Cool Talent by Vibra Mahou; Luis Fercán, Lucas Colman, Ede, Miren, Ganges, Eva McBel, Andrea Santiago, Morochos and Cece June, among others. These will be acoustic sets, in keeping with the intimate atmosphere with which El Patio Mahou has been designed.

With regards to the layout, El Patio Mahou is based on the traditional picnic, with its most iconic elements, but in a new reinvented format in the centre of Madrid. This is a socially distanced open-air set up to share with friends, family, a partner, etc., which aims to make the most of quality time through a varied and different programme of content.

Users can enjoy this experience by booking their preferred day and time slot through a microsite. Entry costs €5 per person and includes a picnic basket, snack and a Mahou 5 Estrellas. El Patio is open at the following times: Monday to Thursday from 18:00 to 00:00; Friday from 15:00 to 00:00; and Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 00:00.

This new concept of space consolidates ACCIONA Cultural Engineering as a leader in 360º content and communication services, a strategy based on creativity and the use of new technologies.
